Hulikere in the local language Kannada literally translated means Tiger Lake! History has recorded that tigers would frequent the very pond that has been helping generations of the family grow the aromatic, high elevation, single origin Arabica coffee. The third generation farmers carefully nurture shade grown arabica coffee on a plantation that is at a maximum elevation 4530 feet and over 80 years old. Fauna like the Paris Peacock and the Malabar Barbet thrive on this farm.
Our Cupper tells us that this medium roast Wild Kaapi has hints of Peach, Orange and Honey.
